All of us at Solva Care were so sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of our Trustee Wendy Phillips. Wendy played a full part in the life of the Community. She was a community councillor and a member of the Solva Care Trustee Board in the early days. In addition to these formal roles, she played a full part in the less formal events – she was an incredibly knowledgeable Quiz team member, she ran the raffle at most community events, she helped out at the Christmas Dinner – she did whatever needed doing and was always cheerful, no matter what the task. She will be very much missed, not just by her family but by all those who live in Bro Dawel and by the community as a whole. I am glad to have known her.
