Would you like to try a new online (Zoom) writing group during lockdown starting in
mid-February and, subject to interest, potentially running for four weeks?
Pick up your pen and join us for an hour to enjoy some expressive writing exercises. You will be given a selection of prompts based on nature, happy memories or poetry to encourage your writing and creativity. There will be no pressure to share your writing unless you want to, and the aim is to have fun and feel satisfied.
The sessions will be developed and facilitated by Solva resident Amanda Stone who is trained in writing for wellbeing and is a member of Lapidus, the organisation that promotes expressive arts and writing workshops.
This form of freestyle writing has been researched and found to help with confidence, mood and wellbeing. You don’t need to be a writer or have any previous experience to join in – just an interest in exploring your ideas in writing.
